Uncover the Glow⎜Natural Beauty Essentials

from Glossier with permission

Today's post is featuring some of my favorite products that release glow from within, from skincare to makeup. Sometimes we get so boggled down by products, trying to cover and conceal everything. But today, it's about showing a little bit of bare truth by allowing glow from within.

Starting with skincare, the Innisfree face sheet masks are awesome! The "Real Squeeze" line is both affordable and nourishing. You keep them in the refrigerator, and whenever you need that boost - whether it is hydration, calming, moisture, or cleansing - there is a mask for every problem you want to target. They aren't miracle makers but they do help and help your skin lots!

Then a great carry around is the a product I recently picked up in INDIA. Yes, it's from overseas with no guarantee of whether they would be available here. But I am featuring it anyway because it's that good. It is the Kama Ayurbeda (Les Jardins D'Inde) face mist Pure Vetiver Water. Great as a toner and a face mist, this helps with skin's PH balance. And because this is a natural astringent, it helps hydrate the skin and tighten pores. Also, what I love about this product is the aromatherapeutic effect - "relaxes the mind".

Another great relaxation product is the Mizon Special Solution Good Night White Sleeping Mask. An overnight mask targeting hydration. I have tried many a overnight masks, but they often are too sticky and I usually end up getting up in the middle of the night and just washing it off. But this one is wonderful in that it is so light but seals in the moisture. It quickly seeps into the skin so you don't get that icky feeling at night. When you wake up in the morning and wash your face, you can still feel the mask - so it really does lock in overnight!

Dr. Jart's Ceramidin Oil Balm has been my favorite since the first purchase. This oil balm is a multipurpose balm that I use whenever I want that real glow. I can use it as a highlighter or by mixing it with a nice coverage foundation, I can create a BB-cream effect. Whenever I use this with a foundation, people sometimes can't tell if I have foundation on! And because this has ceramidin which is great for the skin - restoring and building the skin's outer barrier to keep it healthy - it really is an all around winner!

Smooth lips. Nothing beats the Tatcha Lip Balm. Honestly, a great lip therapy!

For makeup, I just have three products. The first is another great carry around product. It is The Face Shop Natural Sun Ice Air Puff Sunscreen (SPF 50+) with a little bit of coverage. This thing was awesome for the summer - the product remains icy cold so that whenever you apply it, your skin has a great relief from the sun! And the coverage is light but enough for everyday anytime wear.

And brows, you know the drill. Nice and full always gives the face a nice frame. The Chosungah Dong Gong Min Eyebrow Gel in Medium Blonde has both the draw-in and the brush-up duo. Quick and easy, and well, natural.

Finally, I like to give a little pop somewhere on the face. These Shu Uemura Lip Gelatos are for both lip and cheeks! Don't wear them full-on. I like to just dap a little on my lips. A little goes a long way because they are so rich in color!

With a nice eyebrows and a pop of color on cheeks and lips, I'm good to go!
