The Perfect All-Purpose Oil-Balm by Dr. Jart

Holy grail item alert! I've talked about this to everyone and it is worth so much more attention than it's getting, since I myself haven't heard of this product until I randomly picked it up at a Sephora VIB sale. I'm talking about Dr. Jart's Ceramidin Oil Balm. This multipurpose, or rather all purpose oil-balm is great for just about anywhere.

First off, the face. This balm with the heat of the palms, instantly turns into oil. I love to seal and lock in my more water-based skincare products with this oil-balm. It locks everything in and it leaves your skin looking glowy, upon application and even the next morning. And "ceramidin" is this component that supposedly restores your skin's health by "hydrating the skin barrier from within, preventing chronic water loss. Dry, rough skin instantly becomes plumped with all-day, time-release moisture. It enhances the skin’s natural strength and function for smoother, softer skin."

You can seriously see that difference. What I also love so much about this product is that you can use it with your foundation. Mix in a foundation that has high coverage with a little bit of this balm, and instantly, you can achieve a glowing radiant- a more natural skin-like finish to your makeup. I've been using this with my Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage Foundation and I just love, love the finish of it.

Take a look at the glean and shine you get from this. And it does not feel greasy or heavy at all (and let me note here that I have very oily-skin!)

I've also seen the Dr.Jart professionals use this for the hair to get a more textured look. I haven't tried it yet, but I can imagine this would work wonders. You can also use it as a hair treatment, just at the tips (although, I'd like to save this product more for my face). You can carry it throughout the day to touchup on dry spots anywhere, anytime.
